Terms and Conditions of Online Sale | Lisbon Life Vintage
1. identification and responsibility
- The Lisbon Life Vintage brand (hereinafter referred to as “LLV”) belongs to the company Jimdandy Unipessoal Lda.
- The products and conditions of sale presented on this site are subject to these Terms and Conditions. By making a purchase, the Customer accepts all the terms mentioned here.
2. Products for Sale
- Second Hand Antiques: These are unique and exclusive products, made available in limited quantities, usually as a single item, as they cannot be reproduced. Each item is described as accurately as possible, and any change in the condition or detail of a product will be informed to the Customer.
- First-hand Artisan Products: These items may or may not be unique products, depending on the design and availability of each artisan creation. As such, artisan products are subject to stock and may be replenished or discontinued, depending on the availability of materials and the production of the creators, a situation to which LLV is not privy.
3. Product Information and Prices
- Exclusive Items and Availability: All products, especially second-hand antiques, are unique items and can also be purchased in person. For this reason, all purchases made from the online catalog require confirmation from LLV to guarantee availability. In the event of unavailability, LLV will inform the Customer.
- Price and specification changes: LLV reserves the right to change product prices and specifications at any time and without prior notice. In the event of any typographical error or discrepancy in product information, LLV will correct it as soon as possible.
- Product images: The product images on the website are illustrative and may not accurately reflect the detailed characteristics of each piece. For full details, we recommend that the Customer consult the descriptions and specifications of each item.
- Price corrections: If there is an error in the price of a product, LLV will act as follows:
o If the actual price is lower than indicated, we will refund the difference to the Customer.
o If the correct price is higher, the Customer will be informed by email and can choose to accept the new price or cancel the purchase.
4. Online Purchase Process
- Purchase confirmation: All online purchases are subject to confirmation by LLV. In the event of product unavailability, we will inform the Customer as soon as possible.
- Payment and proof: Payment is made by bank transfer, and the purchase will only be confirmed once the amount has been received. The Customer must send proof of the transfer to complete the purchase process.
- Withdrawal by the Customer: The Customer may withdraw from the order before it has been processed by LLV. To do so, they must send an email to guests@jimdandy.pt with the order number and tax identification number (TIN) within 48 hours of the online purchase. If these details are not provided, the withdrawal request will not be considered valid.
- If the customer does not pay for the order within 48 hours of the online purchase, the order will be invalidated and the item(s) will be made available again on the website. The customer will not be able to claim any damages for this.
5. Picking up items at the head office
- Crystal, Glass, Porcelain and Earthenware: Items made of fragile materials are not sent by post and must be picked up in person at LLV's head office. The Customer will be informed of the address of the head office after confirmation of purchase.
- Pick-up deadline: Items reserved for pick-up must be picked up within 30 calendar days of purchase confirmation. If the Customer fails to pick up within this period, LLV reserves the right to put the item back on sale, without the right to a refund of the amount paid.
6. Delivery Conditions
- Delivery address: Orders are not sent to PO boxes. The Customer must provide a valid shipping address.
7. Returns and right of withdrawal
- Non-conformity: If the product purchased is not as described, the Customer has the right to return or exchange it.
- Return period: In accordance with Portuguese law, the Customer has 14 calendar days to exercise the right of withdrawal.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal Data: The Customer undertakes to provide true and accurate personal data and to update any changes. In the event of loss or damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete data provided, the Customer will be solely responsible.
- Data Protection: All personal data provided is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is used exclusively for processing the purchase.
9. Dispute resolution
- In the event of a dispute, the Customer may resort to the alternative dispute resolution entities available in Portugal, in the district of Lisbon.
These Terms and Conditions apply to all online transactions carried out with LLV and are subject to change without prior notice.
